I got a very unique view of this storm. We were flying over central Oklahoma in a Southwest 737
when we encounterd it. There was quite a bit of turbulence, but it was worth it. The setting sun
gave the top of the storm a red hue. There was also some beautiful lightning. I later learned that
there was quite a bit of severe weather in Oklahoma this evening. There were two reports of weak
tornados and many reports of golfball-sized hail.
