A severe weather outbreak got the storm season started off with a bang. Appropriately, this is the 24th anniversary of the "Super Outbreak." This storm came in from the southwest and eventually merged with a tornadic storm just to our north in Robertson county. The storm brought heavy rain and very gusty winds, but odly, a very noticeable lack of lightning. Thank you Julie for these pictures.

There was quite a severe weather outbreak here today. Nine tornadoes touched down in Middle Tennessee. Altogether 25 homes were destroyed and another 75 were damaged, but nobody was seriously injured.
