This storm was similar to the June 20, 1998 event in that it blew up when severe weather wasn't expected and that it took a southeasterly course. The storm didn't actually hit our house (slipping just to our south), but I did get a couple pictures. There were actually mammatus clouds on the anvil. Since I was busy at the time, I forgot about the storm until I later heard that it produced a weak tornado in the town of Eagleville.
