More severe weather hit middle Tennessee today. This storm popped up around 4:30 P.M. The north end of the storm hit us, bringing very gusty winds and heavy rain. As the storm departed, a tornado was indicated to our south. It was tempting, but we decided not to chase it, due to traffic and darkness. There were many reports of funnel clouds with this storm, but never any actual tornados. Altogether there were about 15 tornado warnings issed around our area, but not a single tornado touched down.
