Extremely hot and humid conditions generated some fairly violent thunderstorms around the area. I was spending the day at a friend's house when this storm moved in from the north. Though it missed us to the west by about two miles, I could tell that it was fairly intense. There were many cloud-to-ground lightning streaks, and it stirred up the wind quite a bit. I don't know if any warnings were issued for the storm.
