A fairly strong cold front dropped in from the northwest today. Storms fired up in Missouri and Kentucky and rumbled in after dark. Nothing was severe in my immediate area, but this was the best luck I've ever had with lightning photography.
The first storm slid past downtown and gave some nice streaks behind the Nashville skyline. The other storm moved in a couple hours later. It was putting out two or three beautiful streaks a minute for a while. I've grown to love nighttime storms.
