Storms built rapidly in western-middle Tennessee as a cold front slammed into some very warm and moist air.
This storm blew up right over downtown Nashville and almost instantly showed rotation. Dopplar radar indicated a
possible tornado (right over downtown) moving to the northeast. The storm slipped just to our south, but we actually
got some pea-sized hail witout any rain. No tornado touched down with this storm, but several other storms in our area
did produce twisters.
