A very powerful MCS dove south from Kentucky and ended up providing a great looking storm. As the MCS crossed the Appalachians, it was torn apart somewhat. So this storm was actually a new cell that blew up along the old boundary. I drove up I-85 to watch it move through and got some ominous time lapse footage. As the boundary moved through the area, new cells began popping up all over the place. There was some really incredible lightning and very heavy rain. Pretty sweet.
